Opis Gatunku
Rozchodnik ostry tworzy niską, gęstą zimozieloną darń od 6 do 15 cm wysokości. Liście długości 3-6 mm, grube, eliptyczne, tępe, ułożone są dość gęsto na nie kwitnących pędach. Kwiaty rozwijają się w miesiącu czerwcu oraz lipcu i wyrastają na krótkich szypułkach lub są prawie siedzące, zebrane w małe nibybaldachy. W zależności od odmiany kwiaty różnią się wielkością i zabarwieniem (od różnych odcieni żółci poprzez kremowe do zielonych), mają lancetowate, gwiazdkowato rozstawione płatki. Roślina nadaje się do ogrodów skalnych oraz do ogrodów naturalistycznych. W miejscach słonecznych i suchych, jałowych rozchodnik ten może być użyty zamiast trawy do zazielenienia mniejszych powierzchni.
