Eine Besonderheit der selbstfahrenden Vertikutierer E 450ZR ist, dass sich die Schneidmesser gegen die Fahrtrichtung drehen. Dadurch können Filz und Moos deutlich effizienter aus dem Rasen entfernt werden.
Die Geräte sind außerdem serienmäßig mit den Double Cut T -Messern ausgestattet . Dabei handelt es sich um sehr dünne Messer mit einem Messerabstand von nur 15 mm.
Dadurch wird der Rasen besonders intensiv gereinigt. Kreuzvertikutieren ist somit nicht erforderlich.
